When the peanut butter pretzels come up in the story, she responsibly does not eat them. It would be great in a future book, if she shows responsibility by self carrying her epipen or mentioning signs of anaphylaxis which are more specific than "I'd probably blow up like a balloon and he'd get in trouble for poisoning me." Maybe Abbie could say "I might go into anaphylaxis (a serious allergic reaction), and need to use my epipen in my backpack, and he'd get in trouble for poisoning me." Maybe there could be a graphic that has different signs of anaphylaxis on the side...Just throwing that in there if Booki Vivat reads this for a future book...which by the way, I can't wait to read. - from Amzon
